Q: Can we camp above the caverns on the campground? A: Yes. There are several campsites directly above portions of the cavern, although the cavern is several hundred feet below.

Q: If it is raining are cave tours still given? A: Unless there is such a torrential downpour in which flooding from the aquifer or from surface runoff, tours are still given in the cool comfort of the cave.

Q: If there are very hot or freezing outside, does the temperature in the cave stay the same? A: In general, yes. But there are slight changes (+/- 4 degrees) as air is allowed to move through the cave to bring fresh air in for the comport of our staff and visitors.

Q: Where do we travel underground as it relates to the 105 acre property of Cascade Caverns? A: There are cave maps in the gift shop that show the plan of the cave. The cave passage crosses under the main road on the property twice and ends on the main tour in the Cathedral Room which is about halfway between the cave entrance and the Park entrance gates.

Q: Are discounts available in addition to the Discount Coupons available in your brochure or on your website? A: In general 10% discounts are available to caving association members, AAA members, as well as various camping association members. However, they cannot be combined with our coupons or any any other discounts for long term stays, rentals, or other special rates.
